Taste Better Grown At Home

There are many restraints placed on commercial growers as to how their produce should look, transport and store. Producing fruit and vegetables that are firm, large with long storage ability.
Commercially produced strawberries are a prime example. Commercial varieties are large but lack the intense taste and smell and good texture of smaller varieties grown at home. Strawberries are definitly a fruit that is much better home grown and can be grown on the smallest plot or even on a balcony.
Strawberries are easy to grow and easy to propergate as they send out runners that can be cut and planted elseware or in a pot.
Home grown tomatoes are another great example. Tomatoes grown at home have a softer skin which is easy to bite into, they are also less acidic and more aromatic than commerciall grown varieties.
So try to grow your own you'll definitly notice the difference.
