Backyard food Blog has turned into a 24 Chapter e-book. I only wish I had this book before I set out to grow food in my backyard in the tropics of Cairns Australia.Some information that will really help you grow food successfully, some exposes on some working gardens, what to grow when, how to build your soil, save money and lots more.

I've read many books on how to grow fruit and veggies over the past couple of years slowly accumulating knowledge, but having spent 20minutes with the old Italian man down the street taught my so much in so little time.
I'll try to bring that knowledge and know how on growing your own food from people that have been doing it all their lives in this tropical climate.What to grow in this area of Australia at what time and how to grow it. I'll visit many backyard veggie patches and tree's and show what they grow and how importantly in this Cairns area.
Also other info like how they use it and how not to spend a fortune at the nursery.
I'll start with the old Italian man down the street.
