Gathering Seeds

I allowed one mignonette lettuce to shot up then watched it flower and yesterday collected over 300 seeds from the one plant. I'll try to germinate some before putting them in storage until the end of the wet.




I've also did it for Bok Choy which after flowering created these seed pods. I haven't yet collected the seeds as I'm waiting for them to dry out.



My Cos lettuce has been a great experimantal success. i planted them out in early July and I now harvesting the outside leaves. The bugs have left it alone and I've added to chemical pestiside.
